150 international associations, PCOs, and event solutions providers will connect in Valencia for Europe Congress’s second annual Events Club Associations Forum. The event debuted last year in Salzburg, Austria to much success, and this second annual edition promises to provide even more value to participants.
This unique event, designed specifically for associations holding larger congresstype events, provides event organizers with 2,5 days full of opportunities to meet and network with the leading convention bureaus, congress centers, and hotels from 40 destinations across Europe.
“We saw a real need for an event that caters to association businesses as they have many different hosting requirements than other planners,” explained Alain Pallas, Managing Director for Europe Congress. “From our experience last year in Salzburg, we learned how to make sure associations and PCO’s take in more concrete destination knowledge so that they leave with clear ideas on where to host next. Tailoring this event specifically for association event planners offers them more than any other event or fam trip.”
Europe Congress has partnered with the Valencia Convention Bureau to organize a unique event program that provides a balanced combination of formal and informal networking. In addition to 25 match-made business meetings, attendees will be treated to a full social program, city discovery activities and a plate or two of paella.
Participants can choose between a bike tour showcasing the famous City of Arts & Sciences, named one of the “Twelve Treasures of Spain”, a wine tasting experience to sample the best Iberian wines, a visit to Hortensia Herrero’s Art Centre, a beloved art gallery in the city, and a course to learn how to make Agua de Valencia, the city’s most iconic cocktail.
Guests will be hosted by the Meliá Valencia hotel, conveniently situated both next to the Congress Centre and right in the action of the city. “We’re located in the trendiest district in Valencia and alongside the Congress Centre, surrounded by a great choice of restaurants and leisure opportunities… Participants can easily enjoy Valencia's rich cultural heritage, including historic landmarks, museums, and vibrant street life,” explained Juan Carlos Romero, Director of Sales Hotels Valencia at Meliá Hotels International. “We're excited about welcoming the Events Club Associations Forum at Meliá Valencia and have every confidence it will be a guaranteed success for both buyers and suppliers.
To see the rich cultural heritage of the city firsthand during the Exclusive dinners will also be held at the Masía Xamandreu, a picturesque Spanish finca, and Veles e Vents, an ultramodern events venue right on the Valencia marina.
Limited spaces for the event are still available for qualified buyers. To register your interest, email Europe Congress at info@europecongress.com
